If this is the first
activation of a specific CineForm product, then jump
down below.
Generally you only need
to deactivate if you are:
- moving an
existing activation to another machine, OR
- migrating
from one CineForm product to another, whether on the same or
different machine. A product migration means moving from
(for instance) Aspect HD to Prospect HD. A product
upgrade (Aspect HD v4 to v5 for instance) does
not require deactivation.
If this does NOT describe
you, then jump down below.
Deactivate: To deactivate your
CineForm software, you should run the Activate.exe
utility and select the deactivate button. The
Activate.exe utility is located on your PC at

à CineForm

Aspect HD* à
Activate.exe
(*or Prospect HD or Connect HD)
When you select
deactivate it will launch a browser so you can submit
the deactivation information to the CineForm server. Once your machine is
deactivated, you can immediately activate a different
machine (or upgrade software on an existing machine) by filling in the requested information below.
NOTES:
- You will have a
different system code on each of your machines,
and your activation code received by email will
also be different for each machine.
- The deactivation
utility is only available on CineForm
products beginning in July 2006. We
recommend that you upgrade or update to the
latest version. If you have an earlier
version and do not wish to upgrade you will have
to manually deactivate your product using
these deactivation
instructions.
