How to Convert SD Files into CineForm Intermediate

How to convert SD files into CineForm Intermediate using HDLink

The following steps can be used to convert Standard Definition video files into HD CineForm Intermediate AVI files.

Many of the HDLink Preferences can be customized to meet your needs but the steps below should act as a basic guideline.

Step 1

Run HDLink and click on the Prefs button. This will load the Preferences window.

 

 

 

Step 2

Choose a location for your converted files, and check option labelled "Use Capture Location for converted files."

 


Step 3

Select a File Size and Frame Format.

 

 

 

 

Step 4 

Choose the Resize option of your choice,

 

 

 and Click "OK".

 

Step 5

Click the Convert tab on HDLink's main window.

 

   

 

 

 

 

Step 6

Click on the "Select" button.

 

 

 

Step 7

Browse to the folder where your SD files are located and select your clips.

If you can't see your files then go to Step 8 (below).

Step 8

Make sure that "All Files(*.*)" is chosen from the "Files of type" dropdown list.

Step 9

When all your files have been selected, click Open

 

 

Step 10

Click on the Start button in the HDLink window.
