CineForm Product Is Right for Me? |
|
CineForm's
Neo, Aspect, and Prospect products include the "CineForm
Intermediate" post-production codec plus CineForm's capture/conversion utility
called HD Link. CineForm has a version of its codec for both
Windows and Mac ensuring cross-platform file compatibility. Currently HD
Link runs only on Windows (that will change), but the files it produces work
both on Windows and Mac.
CineForm has two product families:
-
Neo: The Neo family is the same as the equivalent
Aspect-Prospect product, but without the Premiere Pro RT video engine.
Neo is purchased by non-Adobe Premiere Pro (Windows) users for Vegas,
Combustion, After Effects etc. Neo HD/4K also includes the CineForm
Mac codec compatible with Final Cut Pro/Motion and other
QuickTime-compatible Mac applications.
-
Aspect-Prospect: Designed for users of Adobe Premiere
Pro on Windows, Aspect and Prospect contains all the features of Neo, but
also includes CineForm's real-time editing engine for Adobe Premiere Pro.
Prospect HD/4K also includes the CineForm Mac codec.
